Celebrating Park People & Stories Conference - CANCELLED.

 

If you’re interested in local history and telling stories, our joint conference with the Friends of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs is for you! An interesting and informative day, it aims to inspire us all to capture and tell the story of the people of the National Park.

Find out how to use a local history archive, storytelling, music, video, archaeology and more from inspiring speakers and practical workshops.

 

Chaired by Mark Stephen, presenter of Radio Scotland’s local history show, Past Lives, and weekly outdoor programme Out of Doors, the conference also features sessions from:

·         Rachel Sherrard, Luss Pilgrimage Centre.

·         Paul Saunders, photographer and producer of videos for the Friends’ Celebrating Park People project.

·         Paraig MacNeil, storyteller.

·         Kenny Taylor, broadcaster and writer, author of trail leaflets for the Aber path and Callander and Killin heritage trails.

·         Ken Campbell, musician and songwriter and Linsey Aitken, cellist.

·         Fiona Jackson, amateur archaeologist from Arrochar’s Hidden Heritage project.
