Loch Goil beach clean success

8 April 2010

Many thanks to all our volunteers who gathered on Wednesday 7 April on the shores of Loch Goil to tackle the issue of marine litter.   Soft drinks cans, fast food wrappers and fishing ropes were just a few of the items cleared from Lochgoilhead and Carrick Castle beaches by the group.  In fact, over 25 bags weighing over 140 kilos were collected in total - well done everyone!

This event was organised in partnership with the National Park Authority as part of Keep Scotland Beautiful's National Spring Clean campaign.
